Your IP address

API

Simply use https://ip.ayra.ch/ip in your projects. The shown IP is whatever the users system prefers to use, and may be either IPv4 or IPv6.

The server sends the correct HTTP headers so you can use it from JavaScript running inside of the users browser.

You can force IPv4 or IPv6 with the appropriate subdomain:
IPv4: https://ip4.ayra.ch/ip IPv6: https://ip6.ayra.ch/ip

Note

In the past, simply visiting the URLs without /ip would behave in an identical manner. This has been changed to allow for this page to be put here.
You can still use the old method if your tool doesn't sends a web browser imitating user agent string.
